May Newsletter – 2017

It’s Almost Time for WSC 2017!

World Sports Camp 2017 is just over 1 month away, and here at the office we are now in final preparation mode. Our staff is going to be amazing this year and is also the largest staff we have ever had, meaning that athletes will get even more personalized instruction than ever before!

Our Color War has been renewed and will be a weekly battle for dominance between the blue and green teams. We also have all new weekend and dorm time games for the athletes to play while relaxing and hanging out with their new and lifelong friends. The Friday Parties are going to be all new and better than ever and a great way to say good bye (until next year!) to everyone who is leaving at the end of each week; check out the party theme schedule later in the newsletter so you know what to bring for the weeks you’re attending.

Upgrades at Tennis and Golf

We are always listening and taking recommendations about how to make camp better and we have listened! There are two brand new pavilions at our 12 U.S. Open manufacturer made tennis courts. There isn’t a better facility out there for your child to improve his or her game, and no better group of coaches for them to learn from.

At golf we have gotten an all-new indoor practice net for us to use on (the hopefully few) rainy days.

Meet Coach Dylan

My name is Dylan Meyer and this is my first year working with World Sports Camp!  I am going to be one of the tennis instructors for this summer.  I have been coaching high school boys and girls tennis for five years in Milton, Wisconsin at Milton High School and currently play on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Club Tennis Team.  I have been highly involved with sports my entire life playing basketball, soccer, baseball and several others.

I also work for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) as a league coordinator.  I will be graduating in May 2018 with my Master’s in Business and Marketing Education from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Some other fun things about myself are that I managed a bowling alley on campus for a year, I am a HUGE Milwaukee Bucks fan that went to 20 games this season and I grew up on a farm with my family’s produce business.  I am beyond excited to work with your kids this summer!
