1. Sports Executive Tour – ($450) – Week 4

A man sitting in a sea of white chairsThe Sports Executive Tour is designed to provide athletes an opportunity to be introduced to the business side of sports. Interacting with high level executives, in a question answer format, allows each athlete the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about what it takes to run a sports program.
The Sports Executive Tour will take place during the week of July 19th, 2020 to July 25th, 2020 (Week 4) and will include the following:

  • 2 Day off campus trip that includes a visit to the International Tennis Hall of Fame (Tennis), Boston Celtics TD Garden (Basketball), New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium (Soccer) and a PGA certified golf course, either Cold Spring Country Club, Belchertown, MA or Springfield Country Club, West Springfield, MA (Golf).
  • A tour of each of the professional facilities.
  • Information session with a top executive at each venue. The executives will explain the inner working of what it is like to work in their professional sports environment and what it takes to get to their position in the company.
  • Excursion to Newport, RI, relaxing and enjoying the famous seaside town.
  • Food and Accommodations provided.
  • Fun night go karting and playing arcade games.

2. NYC Sightseeing – ($400 USD) – Week 3

This is an all day trip. WSC athletes will leave very early in the morning, approximately 6:00am and drive to NYC. We leave early in order to avoid the massive amounts of traffic entering the city each day. Once in the city, we take a professional tour on a “hop on – hop off” bus. We take the downtown city loop tour, where our WSC athletes will see; Greenwich Village, Times Square, Empire State Building, Wall Street, Soho, Chinatown, Rockefeller Center, the World Trade Center, the Statue of Liberty and more. We make sure to get to all of the major tourist areas. We return back to the camp late at night, in order to stay as long as possible in NYC. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are provided on the trip.

3. Boston Sightseeing – ($300 USD) – Week 2 and Week 5

This is an all day trip. We leave immediately after breakfast. Once we get to the city of Boston, we go on a “Duck Tour”. This is a tour bus that will drive you all around the city of Boston and then will drive directly into the water and give you a tour from the Charles River. All of our WSC athletes LOVE this tour. After the tour, we explore the city by foot and go to the major tourist areas, such as Copley Square, the Back Bay, Newbury Street and more. Lunch is provided.

4. White Water Rafting – ($175 USD) – Week 1, Week 3 and Week 5

This is a lot of fun for our WSC athletes. This is a half day trip. We take our athletes down a damn released river, with a professional rafting company. Our guides know exactly how much water is being released at any one time and are extremely careful with the children to ensure extreme safety. To better understand, if your bathtub was a level 0 and Niagara Falls was a level 10, this will be a level 2/3. It is fun for the children, but still has the element of excitement. Plus there is a giant water fight half way down the river. A picnic lunch is provided on the side of the river for our athletes.

5. Six Flags Amusement Park, New England – ($150) – Week 1 and Week 4

Six Flags Amusement Park, New England is the biggest amusement park in New England! Plus, it has the largest water park in New England!! This is a full day trip. We bring our athletes to the park after breakfast and don’t leave until before dinner. Six Flags Amusement Park, New England has more than 60 rides that range from mild to MAX on the thrill meter. Lunch will be provided.

6. Basketball Hall of Fame – ($90) – Week 1 and Week 5

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is home to more than three hundred inductees and more than 40,000 square feet of basketball history. Just 25 minutes from camp, this trip is a MUST for all basketball enthusiasts. On this trip, we leave right after breakfast and return right before lunch. Often times, we run into famous coaches and players that our WSC athletes enjoy getting an autograph from!

7. Shopping Mall – ($40 USD) – Offered Every Week of Camp

We take our WSC athletes to one of the biggest malls in the area, the Holyoke Mall. There are approximately 170 stores to shop in, from electronic stores, to sports clothing stores to clothing and shoes. You name it, it is at this mall! On this trip, we leave right after lunch and return right before dinner.
